So I entered in for this contest on fb. I'm so freaked out, because I don't want to beat others, I want to prove something to myself. I work my blood,sweat, and MIND into my work already. So, when going into a contest it's like pure torture. I'm trying not to think about it, but OH GOD I CAN'T HELP IT. I'm at a such a bad spot right now. No car, no job(because the prof. license place won't register my Master Cosmetology license for another 20 DAYS!) and the camera I have is going to be giving back to the girl I borrowed it from. Alright, not sure who will read this, but can't sleep so thought why not give it a try. Anyways, been wanting to do some shoots. One was focusing on women and the black community. The sad part is I need female models that would be willing to cry and emotionaly show pain in the photographs. Some ladies have offered, but I feel like they might not give that raw emotion I want and instead its fake. For right now I have to put that off, so I have to think of ideas that I would like to express for right now. I love doing self portraits and want to actually do nude ones.
